CalHFA is issuing this non-binding Request for Information (RFI) to better inform the Agency’s staff and Board of Directors as to the feasibility of a new program (the “Potential Program”) for the development of new affordable multifamily rental housing in the State.

Request For Qualifications (RFQ)

Municipal Advisory Services - Submission Deadline 12:00 PM (PDT) on October 20, 2023

This RFQ is to obtain statements of qualifications from firms to serve the Agency as municipal advisor to prepare the required report in accordance with the California Health and Safety Code, Section 51528.

Request For Proposals (RFP)

Request for Proposals - Selection of Solution Provider for Design, Development, and Implementation of a Leads Generation Program System
Submission deadline: February 15, 2025

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to obtain statements of proposals from organizations interested in providing a Leads Generation Program to allow California homebuyers to submit a limited application directly to one of the CalHFA Leads Program Preferred Loan Officers.

Request for Proposals - Remediation of Findings from Information Security Program Audit
Submission deadline: September 27, 2024

The Agency intends this RFP to obtain statements of proposals from organizations interested in assisting in the remediation of findings from California’s Information Security Program Audit (ISPA). Qualified organizations will have expertise in the requirements of California’s State Administrative Manual (SAM) Chapter 5300, and NIST 800-53. Selected organizations must execute a contract with the Agency. The actual selection and hiring of an organization(s) may be shortly after the Agency’s receipt of statements of proposals, or as need arises.

The Agency intends this RFP to assist you in documenting your compliance with the exemption to the Rule in order to allow your entity to provide advice and recommendations to us. This RFP is being posted on the Agency website, constituting a public dissemination of this RFP. The Agency hereby notifies all interested and qualified investment banking firms, brokers, dealers, and financial services entities that it wishes them to provide advice and recommendations in connection with a municipal financial product and/or the issuance of municipal securities (as such terms are defined in the Rule) as described herein.
