All CalHFA participating Preferred Loan Officers must possess a valid Mortgage Loan Originator license and must be registered under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing & Registry (NMLS). The NMLS consumer access website is www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org.

CalHFA does not independently verify the Preferred Loan Officers license status or registry under NMLS. Preferred Loan Officers are required to report to CalHFA if their license or registry status changes.
